What counts as a request?
Only real processing work counts. Cached responses and human visitors are always free. Reach your allowance and your site stays up with no surprise bill: crawlers get cached copies or your original pages until you upgrade.
AI Optimization requests
When an AI crawler (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot...) visits your site, Wrenda intercepts the request and runs the full AI enrichment pipeline — schema injection, entity expansion, FAQ generation. Each of these transformations counts as one billable request.
Pre-render requests
When Googlebot or Bingbot visits a JavaScript-heavy page, Wrenda spins up a headless Chromium browser, fully renders the page, and returns the HTML. Browser renders are resource-intensive — each unique URL pre-render counts as one billable request.
Pass-through & cached
Regular browser visitors pass through directly to your origin — zero processing, zero cost. Cached responses (previously optimized or pre-rendered content served from KV) are also completely free. The cache works hard so your quota doesn't have to.
What is a tracked prompt?
One question monitored across all six AI models — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot and Grok — refreshed weekly on Starter, Growth and Pro, and daily on Scale. What is metered is the monthly query quota, and every persona multiplies it: one prompt × 6 platforms is 6 queries a run; add two personas and it is 18. Quotas are 1,500 queries/month on Starter (50 prompts, up to 2 personas), 4,000 on Growth (150 prompts, 3 personas), 8,000 on Pro (300 prompts, 5 personas) and 13,500 on Scale (500 prompts, 10 personas).
