Wrenda is a reverse proxy you put in front of your site. It detects who's requesting each page — AI crawler, search bot, or human — and serves a tailored version. AI crawlers get enriched semantic HTML with schema and FAQs so engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity understand and cite you. Traditional bots like Googlebot get fully pre-rendered HTML even if your site is JavaScript-heavy. Humans get your normal page, untouched.
Traditional SEO targets ranking in a list of blue links. Wrenda targets being named, quoted and linked inside AI-generated answers — what the industry calls Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). Both matter, and Wrenda handles both: AI optimisation and citation tracking for engines like ChatGPT, plus pre-rendering and per-page optimizations verified against Search Console for Google.
No. Optimisation is gated by user-agent. Browsers, Googlebot and Bingbot get pre-rendered or pass-through traffic — whichever you configure. Only AI crawlers receive enriched HTML, and Google's guidelines explicitly allow serving different content to different bots when there's no intent to deceive.
